# FATdrop vs NTS RADIO

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FATdrop at none against NTS RADIO's 11. FATdrop also leads on iOS requirement (7.1 vs 17.0). NTS RADIO's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (2K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NTS RADIO sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. FATdrop asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for FATdrop against 4.9 for NTS RADIO. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NTS RADIO has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FATdrop ships an update every 3 months, NTS RADIO weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
