# Pray Watch vs IslamTools

The clearest difference is rating: Pray Watch at 4.8 against IslamTools's 4.3. Pray Watch also leads on ratings volume (9.3K vs 6). IslamTools's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pray Watch holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pray Watch has 9.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Pray Watch's written reviews are positive against 100% of IslamTools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pray Watch ships an update every 6 weeks, IslamTools fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
