# Prompt Flex vs risr/assess

The clearest difference is update cadence: risr/assess at every 3 months against Prompt Flex's every 11 months. Prompt Flex's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 13.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Prompt Flex ships an update every 11 months, risr/assess every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
