# GoodEye vs XMEye Pro

The clearest difference is ads: GoodEye at none against XMEye Pro's shown. GoodEye also leads on rating (3.0 vs 2.7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). XMEye Pro's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (411 vs 38). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GoodEye holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XMEye Pro has 411 ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 6% of GoodEye's written reviews are positive against 13% of XMEye Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GoodEye ships an update every 7 months, XMEye Pro monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
