# CamFi vs JAD

The clearest difference is rating: CamFi at 3.0 against JAD's 2.6. JAD's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 19%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CamFi holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 15 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of CamFi's written reviews are positive against 38% of JAD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CamFi ships an update every 6 weeks, JAD fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
