# MobileID vs AEDO

The clearest difference is update cadence: MobileID at every 4 months against AEDO's every 20 months. MobileID also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MobileID ships an update every 4 months, AEDO every 20 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
