# SWAdvantage vs Acellus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SWAdvantage at 81% against Acellus's 36%. SWAdvantage also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). Acellus's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (32K vs 113). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Acellus holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Acellus has 32K ratings behind it against 113, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of SWAdvantage's written reviews are positive against 36% of Acellus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SWAdvantage ships an update every 11 months, Acellus every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
