# GlitchVideo vs SliceTimeCam

The clearest difference is rating: SliceTimeCam at 5.0 against GlitchVideo's 3.4. SliceTimeCam also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). GlitchVideo's advantage is ratings volume (177 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GlitchVideo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SliceTimeCam sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SliceTimeCam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GlitchVideo has 177 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GlitchVideo ships an update every 3 months, SliceTimeCam weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
