# Autodesk Fusion vs Shadowbox Studios

The clearest difference is rating: Shadowbox Studios at 4.9 against Autodesk Fusion's 4.5. Autodesk Fusion's advantage is ratings volume (4.1K vs 10) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shadowbox Studios holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Autodesk Fusion has 4.1K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Autodesk Fusion ships an update monthly, Shadowbox Studios fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
