# Space Defense Outpost vs Star Trek Fleet Command

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Space Defense Outpost at 100% against Star Trek Fleet Command's 28%. Star Trek Fleet Command's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Space Defense Outpost sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Star Trek Fleet Command sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Star Trek Fleet Command holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Star Trek Fleet Command has 68K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Space Defense Outpost's written reviews are positive against 28% of Star Trek Fleet Command's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Space Defense Outpost ships an update every 7 months, Star Trek Fleet Command every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
