# Resume App vs PDF Scanner・Document Scanner

Resume App and PDF Scanner・Document Scanner both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of Resume App's written reviews are positive against 44% of PDF Scanner・Document Scanner's. Resume App also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). PDF Scanner・Document Scanner's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 75). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resume App sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PDF Scanner・Document Scanner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PDF Scanner・Document Scanner holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Scanner・Document Scanner has 2K ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Resume App's written reviews are positive against 44% of PDF Scanner・Document Scanner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Resume App ships an update every 2 months, PDF Scanner・Document Scanner monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
