# Orbit vs ORBIT AR

The clearest difference is price: Orbit at Free against ORBIT AR's $0.99. Orbit also leads on review sentiment (94% vs 50%) and ratings volume (7.6K vs 4). ORBIT AR's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). On rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Orbit is free to download; ORBIT AR costs $0.99 up front. Orbit sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. ORBIT AR asks for nothing beyond the download.

ORBIT AR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orbit has 7.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Orbit's written reviews are positive against 50% of ORBIT AR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Orbit ships an update every 2 months, ORBIT AR every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
