# SJCAM Zone vs XDV720

The clearest difference is rating: SJCAM Zone at 4.7 against XDV720's 2.1. SJCAM Zone also leads on ratings volume (768 vs 7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). XDV720's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 13%) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SJCAM Zone holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SJCAM Zone has 768 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of SJCAM Zone's written reviews are positive against 25% of XDV720's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
