# SJCAM Zone vs fun DV

The clearest difference is rating: SJCAM Zone at 4.7 against fun DV's 1.9. SJCAM Zone also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (767 vs 32). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SJCAM Zone holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SJCAM Zone has 767 ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of SJCAM Zone's written reviews are positive against 14% of fun DV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SJCAM Zone ships an update every 2 weeks, fun DV every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
