# SJCAM Zone vs AOCHUAN

The clearest difference is rating: SJCAM Zone at 4.7 against AOCHUAN's 2.9. SJCAM Zone also leads on ratings volume (771 vs 118) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). AOCHUAN's advantage is review sentiment (23% vs 13%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SJCAM Zone holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SJCAM Zone has 771 ratings behind it against 118, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of SJCAM Zone's written reviews are positive against 23% of AOCHUAN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
