# Touch VPN Secure Hotspot Proxy vs Bitdefender VPN

The clearest difference is ads: Bitdefender VPN at none against Touch VPN Secure Hotspot Proxy's shown. Bitdefender VPN also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Touch VPN Secure Hotspot Proxy's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 49%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Touch VPN Secure Hotspot Proxy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Bitdefender VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bitdefender VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16K and 14K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Touch VPN Secure Hotspot Proxy's written reviews are positive against 49% of Bitdefender VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Touch VPN Secure Hotspot Proxy ships an update every 2 months, Bitdefender VPN every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
