# Vector Security vs Your Barber

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Your Barber at 100% against Vector Security's 34%. Your Barber also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Vector Security's advantage is ratings volume (9K vs 22). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Your Barber holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vector Security has 9K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 34% of Vector Security's written reviews are positive against 100% of Your Barber's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
