# 3CX vs ARCentral

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 3CX at 28% against ARCentral's 0%. 3CX also leads on ratings volume (322 vs 2). ARCentral's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 2.6) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ARCentral holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 3CX has 322 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of 3CX's written reviews are positive against 0% of ARCentral's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

3CX ships an update every 6 weeks, ARCentral every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
