# O!TV vs iPakt

The clearest difference is review sentiment: O!TV at 85% against iPakt's 9%. O!TV also leads on ratings volume (60 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). iPakt's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iPakt holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: O!TV has 60 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of O!TV's written reviews are positive against 9% of iPakt's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

O!TV ships an update every 5 months, iPakt every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
