# SCN vs Collage Paint

The clearest difference is rating: SCN at 3.4 against Collage Paint's 1.0. SCN also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (27 vs 1). Collage Paint's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 68 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Collage Paint sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SCN asks for nothing beyond the download.

SCN holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SCN has 27 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of SCN's written reviews are positive against 67% of Collage Paint's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SCN ships an update every 68 months, Collage Paint every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
