# Cake games vs Bubble Milk Tea Maker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cake games at free with in-app purchases against Bubble Milk Tea Maker's subscription. Cake games also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (4K vs 119). Bubble Milk Tea Maker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (97% vs 87%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cake games sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Bubble Milk Tea Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cake games holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cake games has 4K ratings behind it against 119, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Cake games's written reviews are positive against 97% of Bubble Milk Tea Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cake games ships an update every 2 months, Bubble Milk Tea Maker every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
