# Amcrest Cloud vs HTMLRemote

The clearest difference is price: Amcrest Cloud at Free against HTMLRemote's $19.99. Amcrest Cloud also leads on rating (4.2 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (5.9K vs 2). HTMLRemote's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Amcrest Cloud is free to download; HTMLRemote costs $19.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Amcrest Cloud holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amcrest Cloud has 5.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Amcrest Cloud ships an update every 4 months, HTMLRemote every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
