# iDousyn Lite vs Refader

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Refader at 80% against iDousyn Lite's 36%. Refader also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). iDousyn Lite's advantage is ratings volume (697 vs 6) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iDousyn Lite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Refader asks for nothing beyond the download.

iDousyn Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iDousyn Lite has 697 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of iDousyn Lite's written reviews are positive against 80% of Refader's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iDousyn Lite ships an update every 3 months, Refader every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
