# Selecta TV vs Symphony.live

The clearest difference is rating: Selecta TV at 3.7 against Symphony.live's 2.8. Selecta TV also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Symphony.live's advantage is review sentiment (31% vs 17%) and ratings volume (19 vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Selecta TV sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Symphony.live sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Selecta TV holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 19 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Selecta TV's written reviews are positive against 31% of Symphony.live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
