# Metabolism Sim vs SyncGrades

The clearest difference is rating: SyncGrades at 3.7 against Metabolism Sim's 3.1. SyncGrades also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Metabolism Sim's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 33%) and ratings volume (69 vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SyncGrades holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Metabolism Sim has 69 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Metabolism Sim's written reviews are positive against 33% of SyncGrades's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Metabolism Sim ships an update every 3 months, SyncGrades every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
