# SmartHQ vs PowerView

The clearest difference is ads: PowerView at none against SmartHQ's shown. PowerView also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (28% vs 17%). SmartHQ's advantage is ratings volume (89K vs 2.4K) and chart position (#90 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SmartHQ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartHQ has 89K ratings behind it against 2.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of SmartHQ's written reviews are positive against 28% of PowerView's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SmartHQ ships an update every 4 weeks, PowerView every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
