# SmartHQ vs OSA Guide

The clearest difference is ads: OSA Guide at none against SmartHQ's shown. OSA Guide also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). SmartHQ's advantage is ratings volume (90K vs 2) and chart position (#68 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OSA Guide holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartHQ has 90K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SmartHQ ships an update every 4 weeks, OSA Guide monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
