# IAA Tow vs Carpool Logistics

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Carpool Logistics at 67% against IAA Tow's 19%. IAA Tow's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 44). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IAA Tow holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IAA Tow has 1.1K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of IAA Tow's written reviews are positive against 67% of Carpool Logistics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IAA Tow ships an update fortnightly, Carpool Logistics monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
