# Speedometer ⁺ vs Safee

The clearest difference is rating: Speedometer ⁺ at 4.3 against Safee's 2.5. Speedometer ⁺ also leads on ratings volume (2.1K vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). Safee's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 62%) and ads (none vs shown). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Speedometer ⁺ holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speedometer ⁺ has 2.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Speedometer ⁺'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Safee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
