# Homework Tracker vs Class Schedule Planner

The clearest difference is rating: Class Schedule Planner at 4.6 against Homework Tracker's 4.0. Class Schedule Planner also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (312 vs 7). Homework Tracker's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homework Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.69 per month and Class Schedule Planner sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Class Schedule Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Class Schedule Planner has 312 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Homework Tracker's written reviews are positive against 63% of Class Schedule Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Homework Tracker ships an update every 2 months, Class Schedule Planner every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
