# Sky Troops vs Burning Sky

The clearest difference is rating: Burning Sky at 4.7 against Sky Troops's 4.3. Burning Sky also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (59 vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sky Troops sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Burning Sky sells 21 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Burning Sky holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Burning Sky has 59 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sky Troops ships an update every 11 months, Burning Sky every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
