# NovelPlus vs Noveltime

The clearest difference is ads: NovelPlus at none against Noveltime's shown. NovelPlus also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). Noveltime's advantage is ratings volume (217 vs 6) and review sentiment (50% vs 40%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NovelPlus sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Noveltime sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for NovelPlus against 4.5 for Noveltime. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noveltime has 217 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 40% of NovelPlus's written reviews are positive against 50% of Noveltime's.

NovelPlus ships an update every 8 days, Noveltime every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
