# ActivityTracker Pedometer vs Duffy

The clearest difference is ads: Duffy at none against ActivityTracker Pedometer's shown. ActivityTracker Pedometer's advantage is ratings volume (102K vs 757) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ActivityTracker Pedometer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Duffy sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for ActivityTracker Pedometer against 4.7 for Duffy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ActivityTracker Pedometer has 102K ratings behind it against 757, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 97% of ActivityTracker Pedometer's written reviews are positive against 84% of Duffy's.

ActivityTracker Pedometer ships an update every 6 weeks, Duffy every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
