# Enki vs Codieval

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Enki at 1.1K against Codieval's 5. Codieval's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Enki sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Codieval sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Codieval holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Enki has 1.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Enki's written reviews are positive against 81% of Codieval's.

Enki ships an update monthly, Codieval every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
