# Prime Cursos vs School Planner

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Prime Cursos at none against School Planner's 3. Prime Cursos also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6). School Planner's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 44 months) and ratings volume (21 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. School Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Prime Cursos asks for nothing beyond the download.

Prime Cursos holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: School Planner has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Prime Cursos's written reviews are positive against 50% of School Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Prime Cursos ships an update every 44 months, School Planner every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
