# Living Scriptures vs Horse.TV

The clearest difference is rating: Living Scriptures at 4.7 against Horse.TV's 3.5. Living Scriptures also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (10K vs 132). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Living Scriptures sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Horse.TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Living Scriptures holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Living Scriptures has 10K ratings behind it against 132, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Living Scriptures's written reviews are positive against 51% of Horse.TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Living Scriptures ships an update monthly, Horse.TV every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
