# Living Scriptures vs FaithX Network

The clearest difference is monetization model: Living Scriptures at free with in-app purchases against FaithX Network's subscription. Living Scriptures also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). FaithX Network's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Living Scriptures sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and FaithX Network sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FaithX Network holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Living Scriptures has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Living Scriptures ships an update every 3 weeks, FaithX Network every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
