# Living Scriptures vs EdVenture App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EdVenture App at 100% against Living Scriptures's 48%. EdVenture App also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8). Living Scriptures's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (10K vs 3). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Living Scriptures sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. EdVenture App asks for nothing beyond the download.

Living Scriptures holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Living Scriptures has 10K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Living Scriptures's written reviews are positive against 100% of EdVenture App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Living Scriptures ships an update monthly, EdVenture App every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
