# GiGa.GG vs Photo Widget

The clearest difference is rating: Photo Widget at 4.5 against GiGa.GG's 3.0. Photo Widget also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (16 vs 3). GiGa.GG's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GiGa.GG sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Photo Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Photo Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Photo Widget has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GiGa.GG ships an update every 6 weeks, Photo Widget every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on June 11, 2026 and June 25, 2026 respectively.
