# GiGa.GG vs NanoPlayer

The clearest difference is update cadence: NanoPlayer at every 3 days against GiGa.GG's every 6 weeks. GiGa.GG's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GiGa.GG sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and NanoPlayer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GiGa.GG ships an update every 6 weeks, NanoPlayer every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
