# OverRapid vs Lethe

The clearest difference is price: OverRapid at Free against Lethe's $0.99. OverRapid also leads on rating (4.2 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (79 vs 13). Lethe's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13.0). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

OverRapid is free to download; Lethe costs $0.99 up front. OverRapid sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Lethe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OverRapid holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OverRapid has 79 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 65% and 65% positive.

OverRapid ships an update every 2 months, Lethe every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
