# Aerlink vs OmniAlert

The clearest difference is price: OmniAlert at Free against Aerlink's $1.99. OmniAlert also leads on rating (5.0 vs 1.2) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 16 months). Aerlink's advantage is ratings volume (66 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0.0). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

OmniAlert is free to download; Aerlink costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OmniAlert holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aerlink has 66 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Aerlink ships an update every 16 months, OmniAlert every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
