# BucknBear Knives vs GiantMouse

The clearest difference is update cadence: GiantMouse at monthly against BucknBear Knives's every 2 months. BucknBear Knives's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GiantMouse holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 63 and 168 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of BucknBear Knives's written reviews are positive against 88% of GiantMouse's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
