# Color Muse vs Days Until

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Days Until at 100% against Color Muse's 38%. Days Until also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs freemium). Color Muse's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 7) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Color Muse sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Days Until sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Days Until holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Color Muse has 1.5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of Color Muse's written reviews are positive against 100% of Days Until's.

Color Muse ships an update every 2 months, Days Until every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
