# Contour TV by Spectrum vs LVStudio

The clearest difference is rating: Contour TV by Spectrum at 4.7 against LVStudio's 2.6. Contour TV by Spectrum also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (12K vs 44). LVStudio's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LVStudio sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Contour TV by Spectrum asks for nothing beyond the download.

Contour TV by Spectrum holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Contour TV by Spectrum has 12K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Contour TV by Spectrum's written reviews are positive against 29% of LVStudio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Contour TV by Spectrum ships an update every 3 months, LVStudio every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
