# Contour TV by Spectrum vs NOW Pass

Contour TV by Spectrum and NOW Pass both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of NOW Pass's written reviews are positive against 23% of Contour TV by Spectrum's. NOW Pass also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). Contour TV by Spectrum's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 40) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Contour TV by Spectrum against 4.7 for NOW Pass. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Contour TV by Spectrum has 12K ratings behind it against 40, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 23% of Contour TV by Spectrum's written reviews are positive against 100% of NOW Pass's.
