# Contact Notes vs Note AI

The clearest difference is rating: Contact Notes at 5.0 against Note AI's 2.3. Contact Notes also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Note AI's advantage is review sentiment (29% vs 0%) and ratings volume (4 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Contact Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Note AI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Contact Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Contact Notes's written reviews are positive against 29% of Note AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Contact Notes ships an update every 3 days, Note AI every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
