# New Note Notebook vs My Notebook

The clearest difference is rating: My Notebook at 3.8 against New Note Notebook's 2.6. My Notebook also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (28 vs 7). New Note Notebook's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and review sentiment (33% vs 18%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. New Note Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and My Notebook sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Notebook holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 28 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of New Note Notebook's written reviews are positive against 18% of My Notebook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

New Note Notebook ships an update every 5 days, My Notebook every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
