# New Note Notebook vs Notebook

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Notebook at 93% against New Note Notebook's 33%. Notebook also leads on rating (4.6 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (122 vs 7). New Note Notebook's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. New Note Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Notebook sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
