# Reolink vs Sigma Mini

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Reolink at 10K against Sigma Mini's 4. Reolink also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and chart position (#197 vs unranked). Sigma Mini's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 25%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for Reolink against 4.0 for Sigma Mini. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reolink has 10K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 25% of Reolink's written reviews are positive against 38% of Sigma Mini's.

Reolink ships an update fortnightly, Sigma Mini every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
